Today possibly was one of the last very beautiful days to spend in the alps above 2000m this year. Combined some trail-running to Gurnigel, and from there to the Stockhorn with enjoying #patrouillesuisse demonstration over Thun (#thunmeetsarmy) from a special perspective with a great panorama.
A first try to find the east face crest trail to Belchenfluh.
The last 3 days have been beautiful, but today I am more than thankful, that I was going here not because of Zermatt & Matterhorn, but because of the beautiful scenery that lead here. Zermatt was so disappointing, I just had to leave with the first train going off.
Second part of my Haute Route leads to much more beautiful cols, valleys with beatiful glaciers and blue lakes. Startin in Arolla and going to Gruben

The Haute Route is a very famous high alpine hiking trail connecting Chamonix in France with Zermatt in Switzerland. I was already thinking for a longer time about doing this trail, but the recommended time of about 13 days hindered me in […]
The nice weather conditions allowed to do an after-work bike tour around the Thunersee. I chose to do the climb up to Beatenberg, even if the road signs told the road was closed, and I was happy I chose this way. Good road conditions, no cars at all, a great view to the mountains in the Jungfrau region.
Again great weather conditions and a nice afterwork ride from Bern up to the Gurnigel pass. I chose the steep version from north to reach the Gurnigel pass, and had to ride over around 50m of ice on the road. Apart from that, the road conditions were great, and the panorama views are extraordinary
Heute ging es zum Biken ins Hinterland von Yangshuo, entlang des Yulong Rivers zum Moon Hill
